Worthwhile, but way short LP. Combines early Magic Band mutant blues playing with some well thought out psychsploitation. Long out of print on CD, this just begs to be reissued properly. There's a non LP 45 that came out after. I paid the price of admission so I feel entitled to have fun with this one, for Pete's Sake. My review is thus, no slight intended to Ceyleib e before i? It had me recall former times. Make sure you go to it stoned! I finally did go see it and paid for the insult but even if the acid WAS kicking in which it wasn't - altho on reefer it was bad enough I tormented myself through to the credits ,waiting for whatever it was that they so enthusiastically recommended.
From that experience I am thoroughly convinced that when others are duped those Ceyleib? I actually sampled one song before purchasing, but perhaps the Alzihmers was kicking in, because the drugs certainly weren't. The sample was interesting enough and kind of pleasant. What I got was a recording with wierd breaks and abrupt interruptions throughout that sounded like some engineer trying to piece together a Hippie practice jam that best should have been left in the can.
